Its really fucking weird and I have never been able to see a pattern or what might trigger this annoying "feature". Sometimes I'll get in the car and it will continue where my podcast left off but many times itll start with random music from my phone (or switch to the music after a few seconds of podcast if I tell my car right away I want to hear that after turning it on). This only happens once shortly after starting the car but not always. At that point I have to grab my iPhone again and go to the Podcast app again and push Play one more time so the car stops playing music and goes back to the podcast. Said podcast will start but after a few seconds it almost always gets interrupted and my car starts playing random music form my Apple Music app I never use, many times grabbing music I dont even have downloaded and streams it off of my mobile data. What infuriates me the most is that I'll turn on my car, choose a podcast on my phone to broadcast over bluetooth to the car. She never mentioned it, so he thinks either she knew and didn't say anything or she had the sound down or something like that. His wife was taking his car and he was close enough that it connected to bluetooth and started broadcasting the audio from his porn videos into the car while she was in the driveway with it. And if your using google you can use your settings to tell you x amount of time before the turn. If you have a tech package (like I do) it dosent matter. Yeah, it sucks and I expected better from Honda/Acura. So, he starts watching, but the damn sound doesn't work and he's like "Wtf. Even the steering wheel controls are delayed over Bluetooth. His wife leaves in the morning and is taking his car, and so she leaves the house and 'yknow. Greatest story of errant bluetooth audio was from a friend of mine. I don't often talk on the phone but it's happened a few times where I've made a call right when I get home or something, like if I order dinner when I Walk in the door or something, and I'll just have to hangup and wait for the car to fully "Turn off" before making the call. What's annoying about that is if I turn my car off and go inside or I'm making a phone call, the audio will still stay on my car for 2mins even after I leave the car. I suspect the car keeps the entertainment system in a low power state when the car turns off for a few minutes. I have android auto which basically turns off my screen anyway while it's plugged in (although you can use it if you want to, it's annoying to so I usually have my phone docked)Īnother really weird thing for me is that my phone stays connected to my car's bluetooth even while the car is off for like. Result is I don't watch any video in my car, even while parked in my driveway or at work or whatever. 2009 Acura TL: Yep (was much more actually, like 3-4 seconds)Įvery car I've ever owned or driven has a 1-2+ second delay.
